Hi everyone!
My name is Garazi and I'm a secondary school teacher in Berrio-Otxoa school, in Bilbao. I recently had the opportunity to travel to Rionero in Vulture, a small town in the south of Italy. The purpose of the visit was twofold: to accompany and collect two students, and to involve in the high school methodology with a job-shadowing experience.
During my stay, I had the chance to take part in several science lessons. These sessions allowed me to observe different teaching methodologies and assessment strategies. One of the highlights of the visit was attending a laboratory class, where the students themselves explained some of the experiments and practical activities they usually carry out.
Beyond the academic experience, we also took time to explore the area. Some of the high school teachers showed us the most emblematic places in Rionero and Potenza, discovering both the cultural heritage and the everyday life of the region.

On our return journey, we made a short stop in Naples before catching our flight home. There, we walked through some of the city’s most iconic areas and definitely enjoyed its famous local food.
Overall, this journey was an enriching experience, both professionally and personally. .jpeg)
