It´s not just about travelling

 When people hear about the program Erasmus+, they usually think of travelling places. They imagine themselves visiting the latest TikTok site or the most famous historical monuments of a country. They do not take into account that Erasmus+ is so much more than that. Erasmus + is an opportunity to learn (or perfect) a new language. It is also a way to immerse oneself in the culture and way of living of a society that is unknown to us. 

Erasmus+ is also a channel to learn new studying, communication or even teaching techniques and styles. It enriches and cultivates one´s need to improve and learn. It helps form better students and teachers; better people. At least, that's what happened to us. 

In our stay in Rionero in Vulture we encoutered great teachers that hosted us and showed us their ways. Not only that, MG, a teacher with a very bubbly personality both in and outside the class, showed us around town with her fierce companion, Orlando. She introduced us to Italian pastries and told us about many interesting facts from the area. 

We also visited Potenza, the capital city of the region of Basilicata. The teachers that accompanied us in that historical adventure, showed us what Potenza was like centuries ago. 

It was a great experience!
